A new Google Meet Integration feature is launched in nTask. The purpose of this feature is to provide the users with the ability to schedule a Google Meet meeting without leaving nTask platform. This feature will save the users from the hassle of switching between multiple applications and scheduling can be done instantly from a single platform.
Google Meet Integration Option
You can integrate your nTask account with Google Meet by following the steps mentioned below:
- Click on the profile icon.
- Go to Profile Settings > Apps & Integrations.
- Click on “Connect with Google” button present in front of Google Meet Option.
As soon as the user clicks on the “Connect with Google” button, they will be redirected to the Google Sign in Page for authentication purposes before setting up or joining a meeting.
Creating a New Google Meet Meeting
While creating a new meeting, an option to schedule a Google Meet meeting will be provided in the “Location” drop-down. If a user selects this option, a Google Meet meeting will be scheduled. Users can also directly type ‘@Google Meet’ in the “Location” drop down to create a new meeting on Google Meet.
In the Meeting detail area, after scheduling the meeting, the URL of the Google Meet meeting will be displayed as the meeting location. Below it, an Additional Description Box will be added. It will show the link to the Google Meet along with the name of the host and meeting ID. The user will be redirected to the Google Meet meeting page if the meeting URL is clicked.
Google Meet Meeting Option in Meeting Detail Area
A new Google Meet icon will be provided in the Meeting Detail area. It will allow the users to create a Google Meet session link instantly from meeting detail area. The location field will display this link. If it is clicked, the user will be redirected to the Google Meet homepage.
